The annual status meeting took place on September 6th and 7th 2023 at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute of the University of Paderborn. Current research statuses of the subprojects were presented and discussed by the total of 29 participants. On behalf of the DFG, Dr.-Ing. Bastian Mohr was introduced as the new contact person of the SPP2111. Important activities and achievements of the past year were summarized appreciatively, and an outlook for important projects in the coming year was given. Worth mentioning in this context is a workshop "Broadband and Microwave Signal Processing Using Electronic-Photonic Integration" under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christoph Scheytt (Paderborn University) and Prof. Dr. Jeremy Witzens (RWTH Aachen) on September 17th 2023 at EuMW 2023 in Berlin (European Microwave Week). The PhD students involved in the SPP can look forward to a winter school in February/March 2024.
